Borders Business, Events & Visitors Fair 2016

The annual Borders Business, Events & Visitors Fair 2016 was held on 9th March at Springfield Park in Kelso. The event attracted a large number of visitors, visitor attractions and small independent businesses from all over the Borders, Lothians and Northumberland. As well as a fantastic event for promoting an amazing array of businesses, crafts and services; it’s was a wonderful networking opportunity and meeting point to renew friendships and meet-up with colleagues. There was a huge buzz of excitement in the hall with businesses enthusiastically promoting their products and services to visitors, buyers and other businesses.

An enormous thanks goes to Andrew Lang & Lesley Lesley Wilkinson of borderevents along with Jenny Coombs of Crescent Information for their hard work organising this exceedingly successful and valuable event for the region.

Since Borders Journeys was launched in 2012, I have passionately promoted and encouraged visitors to visit the Scottish Borders to experience the beauty, history and culture of the region. The Scottish Borders offers so much to see and do whether it’s visiting historic towns, walking in the grounds and ornate rooms of fairy-tale castles or simply marvelling at the magnificence of the region’s lochs, stunning scenery and coastline. There are a fabulous array of beautiful local crafts, traditional woollen and cashmere products, amazing restaurants serving locally sourced produce along with exquisite tea rooms serving sublime home baking.

Come visit the Scottish Borders – you know that you want to!

If you would like me to create a private guided sightseeing tour for you, I will be happy to offer you my advice and plan the tour around your requirements. I recognise that for many of you this may be a once in a lifetime opportunity and my emphasis is upon making your time in Scotland an experience you’ll always remember.
