From Melrose we travel south to Gretna Green through the ancient Border Reivers lands via Hawick and Langholm. At Gretna Green we will visit the World Famous Blacksmiths Shop; this is the historic marriage house used by eloping couples since 1754. There are many delightful shops selling Scottish Crafts plus local produce. Remember to ‘stock-up’ on Moffat’s famous Moffat Toffee and other favourite sweeties from the Moffat Toffee Shop! We will return to Melrose via the Grey Mare’s Tail and St. Mary’s Loch.
Leaving from the Abbey Car Park, Melrose at 10.00am with agreed pick-ups en-route. Returning to Melrose approximately 6.00pm. Drop offs as requested.
