From Melrose we travel south to the market town of Jedburgh. The town lies 10 miles from the Scottish/English at the Carter Bar. Jedburgh is dominated by its 12th century abbey and is also home to Jedburgh Castle Jail and Mary Queen of Scots House. Following lunch we will travel two miles south to ancestral home of the Kerr family, Ferniehirst Castle.
Leaving from the Abbey Car Park, Melrose at 10.30am with agreed pick-ups en-route. Returning to Melrose approx 6pm. Drop offs as requested.
