Alnwick Castle and Garden

The historic market town of Alnwick is dominated by its castle. Alnwick Castle is the ancestral seat of the Dukes of Northumberland and home to sumptuous state rooms and a magnificent art collection. In recent times the castle is famous for being used as a set for the Harry Potter movies. Ten years ago Alnwick Garden was derelict and forgotten; today they are breathtaking and designed to be admired during every season. Highlights of the garden include the Ornamental Garden, Poison Garden, Grand Cascade and Treehouse.
